It’s that time. (More precisely, I’ve been lazing around all day and ended up considering what to do next season, even though this season hardly even started yet.) Series have been getting announced for a while now, and though there isn’t much for certain, you can already find charts and more charts and the usual text-based list too.
At the moment, my to-sub list is as follows:
- To-Love-Ru Darkness
- Shinsekai yori
- Chuunibyou de mo koi ga shitai
These I’m going to sub for sure, unless they air at the same time or get simulcasted, in which case adjustments will be made. Others I’m interested in:
I think I don’t need to introduce you to Jormungand (I’ve even written my notes about it on this very blog). Everyone’s favorite arms dealer returns to stage to continue with her epic world-wide Jormungand scheme.
Kyousougiga (Capital Craze) shouldn’t need an introduction. Last year an ONA was released of it, and it was beyond awesome.
(Give me a good picture for TLRD please…)
I have no idea about To-Love-Ru Darkness. It’s not the kind of anime I’d normally watch and if someone didn’t ask me to do it, I wouldn’t even consider touching it. But at least it’ll be easy and hopefully funny as well. (And I hope they’ll do better job at censoring it than the usual Mysterious White Beams From Heaven, because that’s annoying as hell.)
Shinsekai Yori (Of a New World) looks seriously awesome. It’s a show about the future of humankind, where a bunch of kids are living peacefully in their idyllic town practicing telekinesis… Wait, what? It turns out their world isn’t exactly as delightful and idyllic as they’d thought. It’s based on a novel, and unlike Hyouka this season, I’ll be sure to read them before the show starts airing.
Chuunibyou de mo Koi ga Shitai (tentatively translated as A 12-year-old’s Love) is KyoAni’s new project and as such on the top of the do-want list. It’s based on a novel too.
Robotics;Notes is the “sequel” of Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head. It looks cool, but it’s gonna air in the noitaminA slot, which means it has a very high chance of getting simulcasted (good news for you).
Another one-letter anime incoming! Brings back memories of C… K looks really good.
